Certum running the Spartan Beast
The guys at Certum love a challenge, be it mastering a new technology, providing best in class IT support or running marathons they are up for anything that allows them to grow.
Everyone at Certum would like to wish the team competing in this weekends Spartan Beast race the best of luck.
Spartan Beast is a 22km obstacle race that a bunch of the guys have been training to complete over the last few months.
We would also like to give a shout out to the team at PKA who have went above and beyond to help them prepare. If you are looking for any corporate boot camps or team building events i would give Stuart at PKA a message, great team with loads of experience.
Next week we will update this post with some pictures from the event and an update on how everyone got on.
UPDATE POST RACE
Well it was emotional. The weather took a turn for the worse and a lot of people were being taken off with hypothermia and exhaustion but i'm glad to say team Certum made it through in one piece. Although Stuart did fracture his ankle about 4 miles in and ran the last 11 miles regardless while completing all obstacles so he really earned the spartan medal.
Raf had a go-pro with him but unfortunately it ran out of battery after 2 hours so he composed a short video of the first couple of hours of the race which you can view below.
